Expansion of the Company's Test Field / Heavy Duty Engine Test Field

This test field comprises four test benches with a size of 110 m² and 4000 kW shaft power each as well as workshop and a preparatory area.

Highly dynamic asynchronous machines up to 800 kW and hydraulic brakes are applicable on every test bench.

Cooling systems are available for cold start tests (up to -20 °C) as well as a cold start test bench for thermal shock and cold tests (up to -50 °C).

In combination with modern exhaust gas technology (FTIR, exhaust gas analyzer, particle measurement device etc.) the conditioning of the combustion air is necessary for certification tests i.a. in accordance with EPA.

The cooling system features an integrated re-cooling performance of 9000 kW which can be doubled, if needed.
